Hon. Justice Stephen Musota, The Chief Inspector

On Wednesday April 26, 2023, the Chief Inspector of Courts, Hon. Justice Stephen Musota, carried out inspections at the Entebbe Chef Magistrates Court and the Kajjansi Chief Magistrates Courts.

The Chief Inspector was welcomed by the HW Stella Paculal at Entebbe CM Court and HW Karungi Doreen Olga at Kajjansi CM Court. 

The purpose of the visit to assess the working environment and challenges faced at both courts.

He expressed concern at the lack of State Attorneys at both courts which had delayed the hearing and disposal of criminal cases.

The Chief Inspector interacted with the support staff and different court users. 

He also commended Entebbe Chief Magistrates Court for having well-organized archives.
